Men’s Support Group · Victoria · British Columbia
A place to talk about what matters.
A small, confidential peer support group for men built around four parts of life that are difficult to separate and impossible to ignore.
No performance. No posturing. No requirement to have the answer.
Our focus
Life rarely arrives in neat categories. Four are enough.
The group uses a simple framework — Body, Home, Work, and Meaning — to make room for conversations about health, relationships, responsibility, livelihood, identity, purpose, faith, doubt, resilience, and change.
Body
Health, sleep, habits, movement, recovery, resilience, illness, ageing, and taking care of ourselves.
Home
Partners, children, parents, friendship, belonging, separation, boundaries, care, and responsibility.
Work
Career, money, competence, leadership, unemployment, entrepreneurship, uncertainty, and contribution.
Meaning
Values, character, spirit, faith, philosophy, mortality, gratitude, service, identity, and what makes a life worthwhile.
The standard
Confidential enough for honesty. Simple enough to trust.
The group is peer support, not performance, therapy, diagnosis, advocacy theatre, or an audience for anybody’s personal life.
Members protect one another’s privacy and do not carry personal disclosures outside the group.
Every member decides what to share, what not to share, and when a subject is finished.
No diagnosing, fixing, humiliating, coercing, preaching, recording, or turning vulnerability into leverage.
We can listen, question, challenge, encourage, and share experience. Each man remains responsible for his own decisions.
Personal disclosures remain in the room by default. Digital tools are for gathering dates, upcoming topics, useful resources, and agreed actions — not transcripts of vulnerable conversations, therapy notes, recordings, or invisible AI summaries.
How it works
Small group. Clear expectations. Useful continuity.
The structure exists to make gathering easier — not to turn friendship and support into another administrative system.
Meet regularly in a setting where honest conversation is possible.
Bring whatever is real across Body, Home, Work, or Meaning.
Keep dates, resources, topics, and agreed actions — not private disclosures.
The value comes from continuity, trust, and showing up again.
Member access
Private by design.
Membership is invitation-only. Members use a private account rather than public registration.

Support boundary: This is a peer support group. It is not clinical treatment, crisis response, emergency care, legal advice, or a substitute for qualified medical or mental-health professionals when those services are needed.
